Interview with Huskie matmen Noah Myers

Editors note: Noah Myers was interviewed by Hometown Sports editor Kenny Varner right after being honored for competing at the PIAA wrestling championships held at the Giant Center in Hershey.

KV : Just what is your thoughts on your season and the wrestling in Hershey?

NM: it was a great season. Not so much just for myself but for the whole team. We wrestle some great matches and wrestled our guts out. We lost a lot of wrestler from last year but that didn’t stop us. I felt like we battled. Honestly we could compete with anyone. Not being able to wrestle at king of the mountain really sucked but I was fighting a little bit of a injury for a while but then I came back at the Powerade tournament and beat some tough competitors and racked up seventh Place in it. That’s a really fun tournament you know. Districts, regionals and states are my favorite part of the season it’s just so much fun. It’s just like a different season everybody turns on the switch and resets. It’s so fun to compete with some of the best in the state PA. Wrestling is where it’s at and where my heart will forever be.
