Mc boys finish out home track season with a win

LEWISTOWN -It was a senior night delight for the Mifflin County Boys Track teams as it defeated Chambersburg at the Huskies track complex winning 88-62. With the win the Purple and black attack improved to 4-2 in Mid-Penn.
Andrew Bennett had the hot hand in the field events as he set a new Mifflin County Record in discus with a launch of 160’1-3/4″ and also tied a school record in the shot put with a heave of 49’10”.
Other winners on the night were Malik Sechler in the 100-meter dash with a personal best of 11.1 and Chayce Macknair in the 1600-meter run and the 3200-meter run with a time of 4:49.4 and 10:30.6.
In the High Jump, Jordan Fisher finished in with a jump of 5’10” while Davis Wagner took top honors in the javelin with a throw of 154’3″.
The Pole Vault was won by Anthony Fultz after a jump of 10’0″.
400M – Seth Phillips won the 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run of 54.3 and 2:07.7.
In the 4×800 Relay, the team of Phillips, Macknair, Montgomery, and Unger finished with a top finish of 8:24.3 while the 4×4 Relay of Tate, Suydam, Robinette, and Phillips won with a time of 3:41.7.
