Central PA Krunch 10u Win USSSA Red State Championship

This past weekend in Greencastle, PA and on the eve of their second scheduled break of the spring/summer season Krunch 10u decided to go away from their Tiger Woods-esque red jerseys on championship Sunday. Ironically, lead by their impressive coaching staff and supported by their dedicated families the girls in blue went on to win the “Red State Championship”!!!
Local pitcher Elizabeth “Lizzie” Gaisior pitched 7 innings only giving up 2 hits and 2ER while striking out 14 on her way to the championship win. Earlier Lizzie pitched 2 more innings earning another 6 strike outs along the way. This season Lizzie has been dominate nearly every time she has been called upon. She has pitched numerous no hitters and come close to perfect games a few times as well. At her age Lizzie is a force to be reckoned with on the mound, often leaving the other teams coaches scratching their heads.
With the combined scores of 46-10 Krunch 10u went 5-0 to take their 5th championship while playing in their 7th championship game in 9 tournaments since aligning together last fall.
