Chalk up number six!
The MIfflin County field hockey team upped its winning streak to six as they were able to beat Chambersburg 6-0 Thursday afternoon.
MC scored a goal in the first half 27:58 by Daphne Snook. Putting the Huskies up, 1-0.
In the 2nd half, Mifflin County got goals from Emily Shilling with 21:36 on the clock off a corner ; Kortlin Yetter 18:27 assisted by Emily Shilling; Daphne Snook at 15:05; Emily Shilling at 13:43; and finally a goal by Kortlin Yetter at 7:25.
MIfflin County had 20 shots on goal and 15 corners.
MC goalie had 0 saves .
The Huskies improve in the Mid-Penn League with a record of 5-2 while overall they are 6-2.
