Striders to send athletes to East Regional

The Juniata Valley Striders will send 12 cross country runners to the Region 2 East Regional Championship at Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, PA on Sunday, November 19th as all advanced in the top 15 places at Mid-Atlantics. The team was led by Emily Houtz who won the 13-14 Girls Division with a 17:20 4K Club record, and her brother, Quentin who was second in the 8 & Under Boys Division in 9:21. Addie Parson 4th in the Girls’ 11-12 Division wa salso impressive with a 12:49 3K Club record 4th Place.
