Terrace tops Belleville in American Bowl

In the opening game of the Central Keystone Cheer and Youth Football League, the Terrace Tigers Pee Wees went up against the Belleville Lions in the American Bowl.
The Tigers offense was on fire for most of the game while its defense held the Lions to just one score in a 33-7 victory.
After holding Belleville in its first offensive possession, the Tigers got the ball and went right to work.
The Terrace worked its way down field and on its seventh offensive play of the game, the Tigers struck first.
Naimen Garrett got around the end and scored from 19 yards out, making it 7-0.
After a second consecutive defensive stand, the Terrace brought to ball back to its offense and immediately added to its score.
On 1st down from the Lions’ 35, Garrett found an open Evan Rhodes for the 35-yard pass reception, upping it to a 13-0 advantage.
The Terrace would call on Garrett one more time before the half as he motored one in from 18 yards out, making it a 19-0 Tigers’ lead at the intermission.
Opening up the second half, the Terrace went back to the passing game when Garrett found a wide open Raul Rodriquez on a 9-yard TD reception, upping the Tigers lead to 26-0.
Belleville got on the scoreboard later in the game when Isaac Specht took a Terrace punt in from 32 yards out, ending the shut out attempt.
However, the Terrace added another and held on for the 33-7 victory.
