MC swimmers all post Personal bests

Despite not finishing for a medal, the talented group of swimmers from Mifflin County put on quite a performance at the District 6 Championships on Friday.
The Huskies opened the afternoon with its Girls 200-yard medley relay team. The group just missed placing as it finished a close fourth.
In the Boys 200- medley relay, the group set a personal best on the year with a time of 1:50.28.
Morgan Robinette finished with a sixth place nod of 2:12.25 in the 200-yard freestyle.
In the 200-yard Im, Hannah Bonson picked up a third place finish with a time of 2:19.16 while teammate Ella Stuck finished with a personal best time of 2:29.10.
Freshman Madeline Baisey posted a strong time of 26.12 in her run in the 50-yard freestyle.
Four total Huskies were involved in the boys 50-yard freestyle.
Led by Kevin Neavling’s third place time of 22.65, the group all finished with PRs.
Issac Iron Cloud finished 6th with a time of 23.48.
Iron Cloud also picked up a personal best time of 57.08 in the 100-yard butterfly.
In the first heat, Alex Larson posted a 24.79 while teammate Tyler Mitchell finished with a 25.82.
Macy Becker led all Huskies with a second place medal with a time of 1:03.35 in the 100-yard Butterfly.
Bennett Andrews finished with a time of 1:06.57 while teammate Trystan Snyder finished with a 1:07.38.
In two relay events to finish day 1 competition, the Mifflin County boys finished third, posting a time of 1:38.96 while the girls finished fourth with a 1:49.38.
There will be more action for the Huskies swim team tommorrow on day 2.
