Downingtown LAX edges State 13-10

State College girls lacrosse fell for the first time Saturday in their match against Downingtown West in a close contest.
In the end,  Downingtown West picked up the 13-10 victory.
With the loss, the Little Lions fall to 3-1 while they still are a perfect 1-0 in the Mid-Penn.
Emily Hall led the way for State College, finishing with three goals and two assists while teammate Carissa Tambroni finished with three goals and an assist.
Other Little Lions finishing with goals were Elaina Ohlson with two goals and Sally Stahl and Alyssa Dunlap with one goal apiece.
In goal, Emilee Engle finished with a 6-saves performance.
Kristina Hughes caused six turnovers.
State College is back in action Tuesday at home against Hershey HS.
