Mifflin County JH ties Boiling Springs

Today the Mifflin County girls junior high teams played games vs Boiling Springs.
In the Varsity contest, the teams finished as they started tied.
Mifflin​ C​oun​ty and Boiling Springs both finished with five goals each.
However, Mifflin C​oun​t​y finished with 10 shots in the game while in the save department goalie Bailey McNitt saved seven.
In the Goal department Aubrey Strohecker finished with four of the five goals her team scored.
Strohecker’s first goal on an unassisted shot.
Strohecker ​was at it again as this time she was assisted by Kylee Cubbison.
Strohecker scores again this time she got the assist from Lily Yoder.
Sarah Henry kept the Huskies scoring going as she put away an unassisted goal.
Strohecker​ rounded out the team’s scoring as she finish with the unassisted goal.

​In the JV game,
Mifflin​ C​oun​ty scratches out a close 2-1 victory.
Mifflin Coun​t​y had six shots on goal.
Goalie Maddie Finkenbiner was tough under pressure as she snagged four.
Mifflin County got goals from
Morgan Breon (unassisted),
and Summer Traxler (assisted by Kylie Strawser).
