Cal Ripken baseball loves the night life

It’s a night where dreams are made of.
As a kid, many baseball players could not wait until the first day that they would stand on the baseball diamond as the mummering sounds of the light system heating up and they watched light by light as they got to play their first under the light game.
For many youngsters that dream came true at Rec Park Friday night as a new era started for the Mifflin County Youth Baseball League.
“Mother Nature” held off long enough to let the magic happen.
Members of the Moose and Krentzmans met on this historical night.
Though the rain set in later in the evening and the game had to be stopped with Krentzmans picking up the win, the page has already been turned and there is now night in Mifflin County Cal Ripken League baseball.
