Saint Joesph track and field have strong showing at Bellwood Invite

St. Joseph Academy Athletes shine at the Bellwood-Antis Invite.

Carter Kauffman was the lone award winner for for the boys team as he finished 2nd in the 800 (2:06.51) and 4th in the 1600 (4:35.26).

The girls team finished 4th overall in the 17-team field. The 4×8 relay (Camryn Eby, Lindsey Carmack, Julia Cusatis, Sera Mazza) started the day with a win in 10:24.58. Clare Marsh added a 3rd place in the 100m hurdles (16.59). Addie Ebbs’ 5:31.50 was good enough for runner up honors in the 1600. Kathleen Simander and Clare battled to finish 2nd (62.21) and 3rd (62.80) in the 400, respectively. Sera returned to the track to win the 3200 in 11:41.54. Lindsey, Sera, Kathleen, and Addie combined to run 4:22.96 for second place in the 4x400m relay.
