10-run seventh lifts Mounties over Lady Raiders

Besides Bald Eagle Area being circled on the Bellefonte girls softball team’s calendar. The Lady Raiders also has Philipsburg-Osceola also circled in.
The two renewed rivalries at Bellefonte.
For most of the contest the two battled back and forth with each team taking leads.
But it would be the Mounties that would make the last offensive strike, scoring 10 runs in the top of the seventh.
In the end, PO took the contest 16-4.
Bellefonte took the early lead, plating one run in the first and second while allowing the Mounties just one run in the same time.
The game would remain until the top of the fourth when Philipsburg-Osceola plated two in the fourth and two in the fifth.
The Mounties defense held the Red Raiders to just one, taking a 5-3 advantage.
From there, Philipsburg exploded for 11 more runs in the final two innings to secure the lead.
Bellefonte got Multi Hit Games from Mallorie Smith 2 Singles/Triple, Rianna Trexler 2 Singles, Lissi Przybys single/double and Hanna Lauck single/double.
Lexi Rogers, who went five innings, took the loss while Kamryn Harris picked up the victory.
The Mounties got Multi Hit Games from Kylie Thal, 2 Singles/ Home Run, Rachel Simpson single/double and Kylie Adams 2 singles/home run.
