Red Raiders outscore Hollidaysburg 8-1 late for walk off win

Bellefonte Vs Hollidaysburg At BELLEFONTE – This wasn’t one for the faint of heart.
Bellefonte had to maximize its offense to the limit Thursday as it was taken to the limit by a spunky Hollidaysburg team.
In the end, the Lady Raiders had what it took to pull it out on the night, escaping with the 12-11 win.
It took a combined effort on the mound by Lexi Rogers, Rianna Trexler and Lissi Przybys. The three combined for 11 hits.
Offensively, the Bellefonte were led by Multi Hit Gamers Mallorie Smith single/double/triple, Alexis Wetzler two singles/double, Rianna Trexler four singles and Maddie Tice single/two doubles.
Bellefonte got on the board first to take the lead.
However, Hollidaysburg went ahead, plating three in the second.
But the Lady Raiders took the lead back in the bottom of the inning as the scored three as well, taking a 4-3 advantage.
In the third, Hollidaysburg tied the game at four when it picked up a run.
Hollidaysburg added three runs in the fourth and two in the fifth to take a 9-4 lead.
To make things even worse for the Red Raiders, the visitors added another run in the sixth to lead by six going into the final two at bats.
However, the Bellefonte bats started to come alive as it was able to outscore Hollidaysburg 8-1 for the walk off win, 12-11.
