State College girls LAX capture Commonwealth title

Another title.
State College high school added yet another title to its distinguished list of league championships Wednesday
On a mild night, the State College girls lacrosse team defeated Cumberland Valley in a very close match, winning 15-12.
With the win, the Lady Lions finished a perfect 5-0 and the
Mid Penn Commonwealth Champs(end of regular season) and will play Hershey Thursday at 5 to determine Mid Penn Champs.
State College finished the regular season overall record of 13-3.
Picking up goals in the historical contest were Alyssa Dunlap (4) Sally Stahl (3), Caroline Paterno (2) Ohlson (1), Carissa Tambroni (2) Emily Hall (2) and Elizabeth Paterno (1).
State College goalie Emilee Engle finished with six saves.
In the JV contest State College and Cumberland Valley tied at 9.
Picking up goals in the contest were
Washell(4), Bennett(3), Wein(1) and Angus(1).
