Bickhart finishes with hat trick; MC Girls tops CD East

LEWISTOWN – It was a Saturday afternoon delight as the Mifflin County girls soccer team picked up another win.
Mifflin County doubles the output of CD East, winning 4-2.
The Huskies outshot CD East 15-10 while MC goalkeeper Allyssa Schnell saved eight while CD East’s Kayla Proch collected 11.
Jess Bickhart notched the first goal of the game, giving Mifflin County the 1-0 advantage at the 2:01 mark.
However, CD East took the lead on consecutive goals. The first cane from Aaliyah Broughawell and Bree Rotherman hit the second, taking to the advantage of 2-1.
Bickhart notched her second goal, tying the game at the 38-minute.
Bickhart notched the hat trick minutes later, giving the Purple and Black Attack a 3-2 advantage.
Teammate Kylee Cubbison put the game on ice late in the game en route to the 4-2 victory.
The JV team did just as well, picking up a 5-0 win over CD East.
