Juniata girls up record to 8-3
The Juniata girls soccer team picked up its eighth win of the season as they defeated Susquenita 2-1 Wednesday evening.
Juniata dominated on shots on goal by an 11-5 margin.
In Corners, Juniata shut their opponent 5-0.
Juniata Keeper Kali Foltz had four saves while Susquenita keeper had nine saves.
In the 1st half, Susquenita started the scoring when Alayna Kichman scored with 19:07 left.
In the 2nd half, Nylah Pannebaker scored an unassisted goal with 8:29 minutes left crushing it from outside the 18.
Juniata’s Katey Martin fired one hard shot over the keepers head with 1:21 seconds left for the win.
Juniata’s record is now 8-3
Their next game is against East Juniata October 6th at Dietrick Field at 8:00 p.m.
