Strong day running for St. Joes XC

Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy had a strong day at the District 6 XC Championship. The boys got the day started for the Wolves are produced a third place finish. Carter Kauffman earned runner-up honors while Josh Hershbine finished 5th. Carter and Josh will be joined in Hershey by Sam Palmer who also qualified as an individual.

Sera Mazza grabbed her third district title as she outdistanced the field. The Wolves put four in the top 15 (Lindsey Carmack -10th, Kathleen Simander -12th, Kate Youngmark-13th), but it wasn’t enough to earn the title as they finished second which earned them a return trip to the state meet.
The Wolves will be in action next Saturday in Hershey for the PIAA Championship.
