Other Saturday Centre County results:

Junior high wrestling

Penns Valley Jr. High Wrestling wrestled in the Blairsville Duels today and went 5-0 and got 1st place with wins over Blairsville 63-25, Armstrong 78-21, Greater Latrobe 83-24, Portage 78-24, and Southmoreland 82-18. The following wrestlers went 5-0 on the day Colton Shunk, Jack Darlington, Carter Struble, Chase Fleshman, Nick Cain, Ty Watson, David Martin, Hunter Lyons, Micah Fetterolf, and Rylee Brungart.

The St. Joseph Academy girls basketball team lost a close one Saturday, falling to Jersey Shore 58-52 in varsity action.

Leading the way for the Wolves were Denaya Poston-Cooper with 15 points, Selena Mann with 13

and Maggie Mangene with eight.

In Junior Varsity Action, SJCA topped Jersey Shore 30-21.

Emma Mallison led the way with eight while teammates Camryn Eby and Brynn Hershbine both finished with six points each.
