East Juniata Girls lost tough battle with Fairfield
It was a tough day for the East Juniata Girls soccer team as it suffered its first loss of the season Saturday, 2-0.
“This is a good learning experience. We will be okay,” said East Juniata coach Valeria Dressler.
After a scoreless first half Fairfield got its first goal on a Nora Clarke unassisted goal at 42:10.
Less than 10-minutes later Milly Heinbaugh put her team up 2-0 on an unassisted goal at 51:00.
The team had five shots on goal.
The EJ Girls had 13 shots on goal, five corner kicks and Brianna Henry had three saves.
The Tigers overall record is 17-1
And a TVL League record of 12-0.
Next game for the Lady Tigers is Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 in the TVL Championship.
