A start of a new winning streak for MC field hockey team

Mifflin County starts another winning streak.
After falling last week, the Huskies’ field hockey team is back to their winning ways as they picked up a very tough road win Thursday.
The MC field hockey team beat mifflinburg 1-0 in a nail biter that went down to under the final 10 minutes before either team would be able to score one past the other goalie.
The Goal came by the stick of Emily shilling thanks to an assist by Marcella Pupo . With 7:14 left in the contest, the Buskies had its first lead if the game and never looked back.
Mifflin County goalie Selena Breneman had four saves.
With the win MC improves to 6-3 in the Mid-Penn League and a record of 9-3 overall.
The Mifflin County JVs beat Mifflinburg 4-0.
Alyssa lynch notched two goals on the night while teammates Lydia Hidlay and Lizzy Stewart had the other.
