All-Time Winningest Coaches at Penns Valley to Step Down

Karen McCaffrey and Scott Case have announced they are stepping down as coaches at Penns Valley. Both are the all-time winningest coaches in program history. Karen led the Lady Ram basketball teams for 21 years, and Scott Case has the distinction of being the only coach in the history of the Penns Valley boys soccer program, starting it back in 1997.

Although he will tell you, his biggest accolades are the achievements of his players in their lives beyond soccer, Coach Case has four league championships and a district title to his credit.

Coach McCaffrey took her last two teams to the PIAA Sweet Sixteen, capturing her second district title back in 2018. To go with her 341 wins (which is the most at Penns Valley in any sport ever), she also brought home 7 league titles, the most recent being this past year in the Mountain League.
