East Juniata girls dominate Central 10-1

ALTOONA – The East Juniata girls defeated Central in the girls game in the Altoona Tournament 10-1.

“Thought about game: Good full game with a lot of clean passing, movement, and finishing,” said East Juniata coach Valeria Dressler. 

Carly Beaver picked up the unassisted goal at the 12:49 mark. 

Minutes later, Thea Neimond also posted an unassisted goal at 19:24. 

Kierstyn Fogle thanks to an assist by Thea Neimond, put her team up 3-0 at 21:05.

Neimond got the call once again as she was assisted by Hailey Swartz at 45:23. 

Fogle picked up her second goal assisted by Neimond at the 50:00 mark. 

After a goal by Central, Swartz got East Juniata back on the board on yet another unassisted goal at 55:07. 

Amara Brubaker got into act assisted by Bree Henry, 66:22.

Neimond, who picked up a hat trick, scored as she was assisted by Alyssa Robinson at 67:06. 

Bree Henry added an unassisted goal 73:49. 

Fogle picked up her hat trick on an unassisted goal at 78:40, putting her team up 10-1. 

The Tigers finished with 15 shots on goals while goalie Kayla Forry saved one. 

EJ improves on the season to an overall record of 5-0-0 and a league record of 2-0.
