East Juniata girls soccer remains undefeated, drops Southern Columbia
In one of its biggest tests to date , the East Juniata girls soccer team went head-to-head with a very tough Southern Columbia team and Millersburg team in a double header at Cocolamus. Here are the stats of our games (Double header Varsity) 10-15-18 against Millersburg and Southern Columbia .
When the dust settled, the Lady Tigers remained undefeated upping their record to 17-0 overall and 10-0 in the TVL, taking over first place.
In the first contest, East Juniata
Shut out Millersburg 4- 0.
The EJ Girls got goals from
Amara Brubaker’s unassisted goal at 4:02.
Next Hailey Swartz scores thanks to an assist by Cypress Feltman at 15:44.
Amara Brubaker followed next with an unassisted goal at 22:12.
Brianna Henry rounded out the scoring as she scored on an unassisted goal at 25:53.
The Tigers led in shots on goal by a 18-3 and also led in corners by a 3-0 margin.
East Juniata goalie Kayla Forry has three saves.
In its Game Against Southern Columbia, the Tigers made their goal count as they finished victorious 1-0 over Southern Columbia.
Hailey Swartz scores the game’s only goal as she was assisted by Thea Neimond at 36:04, making it 1-0.
East Juniata finished with 15 shots on goal with 15 while Southern had 11.
Southern Columbia led in Corner Kicks by a 4-2 advantage.
In Keeper saves, Kayla Forry had 14. Southern Columbia’s goalie had 14.
