EJ girls capture TVL crown in soccer

Here are the stats of our game 10-18-18 against Susquenita for the TVL Championship. 

And the winner is……

After taking the Tri-Valley League by storm through the regular season, the East Juniata girls soccer team continued its dominance Thursday in the Tri-Valley League Championship game, topping Susquenita 8-0 to capture the crown. 

The Tigers scored early and often to take the contest, going away

Kierstyn Fogle scored first assisted by Carly Beaver- 4:36.

Thea Neimond followed with an unassisted goal at 17:38. 

Leah Sankey got her name into scorebooks scoring on an assist by Fogle – 21:32. 

Fogle hit goal number two on an unassisted goal at the 24:00-mark, making it 4-0.

Sankey scored goal number two of the night on unassisted goal at 24:43. 

Fogle, picked up a hat trick, scored on an assist by Carly Beaver at 27:46. 

Sankey, who also netted a hat trick in the title tilt, scored as she was Assisted by Hailey Swartz at 29:40. 

Rounding out the scoring was Brianna Henry as she was assisted by Emily Wert at 37:25. 

East Juniata plastered 12 shots on goals and seven corner kicks. 

Goalie Kayla Forry has no saves on the day. 

EJs Overall record is 19-0-0 while its Tri-Valley League record is 13-0.
