EJ girls dominate Millersburg in hardwood action

Another night and another win.

The East Juniata girls basketball team continues to win as they picked up a 47-23 win over Millersburg Monday night.

Leading the offense tonight for the Tigers was Clayre Guyer with 21.

Teammate Carly Beaver finished with 10.

In the first quarter, East Juniata busted out with a 15-point effort while Millersburg tallied five.

The Lady Tigers defense. Pamper down even harder in the second quarter, pitching a shut out and not allowing a point.

Offensively, East Juniata finished with 12.

When the two teams went into the intermission, the Tigers led 27-5.

Millersburg outscored East Juniata in the third period, posting a 12-9 advantage.

However, the Tigers would get the last laugh as they would take the final period by a 10-6 margin en route to the victory.
