Freshman Shafranich has strong showing as does SC girls
The Mifflin County and State College golf teams competed Friday at the Girls’Mid-Penn match at Valley Green Golf Club(Red Land). MIfflin County had Reagan Shafranich compete. She shot a score of 116. Reagan is a freshman competing in her first mid penn match. To qualify for girls Mid-Penn Championships she needed to shoot a score of 110 or better. So she is extremely close to qualifying as a freshman. She gets a few more chances to qualify later in the season. Quite a nice start for the freshman.
Others having strong performances were State College’s Katie Cepullio(85), Sophia Mochan (87), Riley Kracaw (99), Amber Kissinger (108) and Katlin Owen (120).
