Juniata boys offense explodes for 78; tops Susquenita

Offense was the name of the game Thursday for the Juniata Indians boys basketball team as the put up 76 points while holding Susquenita to only 28 en route to the Tri-Valley League victory.

Bryson Clark lit it up from the field, posting a game-high 22 points.

Jace White and Devon Noland both finished with 11 apiece for the Indians.

Jon Elliot rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10.

Juniata opened the game posting 26 points in the period.

The defense held Susquenita to just nine.

Leading the way in the period was Clark with 15.

Offensively, the Indians continued to roll, outscoring their opponent 18-6.

Highlighting the second quarter was Tylor Gomez’s and Manny O’Donell’s six points.

When the two teams went into the intermission, Juniata held a 42-15 advantage.

There was no let up in the third as the Indians continued its offensive atracks outscoring Susquenita 17-11. 

Again, Clark paced the leading scorers with five.

In the final stanza, the Juniata defense almost missed posting a shut out, allowing just two points en route to the victory.
