Juniata girls shut out Susquenita
Juniata continues its roll through the very tough Tri-Valley League as the Girls soccer team defeated Susquenita 2-0.
“We scored right away but didn’t play to our potential in the first half,” said Juniata coach Laresa Paden. “The second half we attacked space and possessed the ball so much better because we were a lot more active off the ball and did a better job at switching the field.”
The Indians picked up its firs goal
at 38:02 in the 1st half. Ashlyn Pannebaker scored off an assist from Shreya Patel.
In the second, Juniata notched goal number two at 32:25 when Nylah Pannebaker scored off an assist from outside back Frances Fitzgerald.
Juniata goalie Hailey Kepner had 11 saves and faced 16 shots on goal.
