Juniata round up; girls soccer and volleyball pull off wins

Juniata 5, Halifax 0

The Juniata girls soccer team rebounded from a Saturday loss against rival East Juniata to defeat TVL opponent, Halifax 5-0.

Juniata blanked Halifax on shots on goal 16-0. 

They also led in Corners, 14-0.

Kali Foltz was in the goal the 1st half and had no saves while Olivia Laub was in the second half and also had 0 saves.

Lauren Krakowski was in the goal for Halifax with 11 saves.

In the first half, Makenzie Beward found the net off a cross from Liseth Montoya at 36:49.

Hailey Kepner found it again at 31:49, from Ashlyn Pannebaker.

Nylah Pannebaker found the corner of the goal from the top of the 18 at 12:41

In the second half, Makenzie Beward got a goal off a pass from Maci Kreider at 25:27

Liseth Montoya got a goal on the near post off a pass from Semeria Malcolm.

Juniata Girls are now 11-6, we will play Mifflin County Wednesday 10/17 at Mifflin County at 4:00.

Volleyball 

Juniata vs. Grier School

The Juniata girls volleyball picked up its second win of the season after defeating the Grier School 3-1, Tuesday night. 

Juniata took the series 25-27, 25-11, 25-11 and 25-21.
