Lady Eagles reach .500 mark; drops PO

WINGATE – The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team reached the .500 point as they defeated Philipsburg-Osceola 8-0 at home. 

Bald Eagle dominated the Mounties’ back-third outshooting them 26-1.

In the save department, 

Bald Eagle goalie Rachel Veneziano had one while PO tallied 18. 

Leading off the night was Grace Holderman on a pass from Zoey McHenry, making it 1-0. At the 11th minute, Anna Cingle plaster an unassisted goal, making it 2-0. 

At the 24 minute, Emily Shiels got a pass from Sarah Holler to keep the ball rolling. 

40th minute, Addison Proctor scored on a Madison Jones assist at the 48th minute. 

Addison Proctor and Rachel Veneziano hooked up at the 50th minute, making it 5-0. 

Madison Jones posted an unassisted goal at the 52nd minute, Grace Wagner followed with an assist from Georgia Cingle. In 60th minute, Proctor got an assist from  Georgia Cingle at the 77th minute, ending the scoring at 8-0. 

“The girls maintained possession tonight very well. Quite a few got on the score sheet today which was nice to see,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore said. “Addison Proctor had another great game with a hat trick. She definitely earned it tonight. She played fantastic. We just need to keep this great run going.”

Bald ups its record to 7-7-3. 

The Eagles’ Next game is at Penns Valley on October 17th.
