Lady Huskies battle for OT win over the Greyhounds

They know how to get it done!
The Mifflin County girls field hockey upped its record to 13-3-1 Monday as the Huskies beat shippensburg 2-1 18 seconds into overtime . Winning goal was by Marcella Pupo as she was assisted by Emily Shilling.
Shippensburg scored the first point of the the game late in the first half when the Greyhounds got a goal by Eva Bailey ‪at 8:42‬.
After a scoreless first half, MIfflin County got on the board and tied the contest on a goal by Daphene Snook thanks to an assist by Keni Kahley with 27:45 showing.
The Lady Huskies had 24 corners and 18 shots on goal.
MC Goalie Selena Breneman had one save.
The Final regular season game for the Lady Huskies is ‪Thursday October 19th‬ at lewisburg ‪at 5:00pm.‬
