Lady Huskies fall on road to Palmyra

It was a tough night on the soccer field for the Lady Huskies soccer team fell to Palmyra 6-0

Palmyra got its first goal from Nicole Romanowski at 27:19.

Three minutes later, Nyah Combs upped the lead to 2-0 with a goal at 30:37.

Getting close to the end of the first, KK Monette hit an unassisted goal at 38:28.

In the second, Kat Bauer hit the first goal of the period at 51:22.

Zoe Smith off an assist from Kat Monette, made it 5-0 at 60:07.

Rounding out the Cougars scoring was Maddie Grinstead at 77:14.

Palmyra outshot Mifflin County 21-4.

The Cougars held the advantage in Corner Kicks by an 8-3 margin.

Mifflin County goalie Bailey McNitt had 16 saves while the Cougars keepers Bailey Corrigan/ Maggie Webb combined for four.

MC 1-1 league/ 2-2 overall next game 9/12Home vs Hershey

In JV action, Palmyra topped Mifflin County 3-1.
