Lady Trojans shut out Glendale in 9-0 contest

The Mount Union softball team continued to pour in the runs.

This time the Lady Trojans shut out Glendale 9-0 on the road Thursday.

Leading the way on the night were McKenzie Boozel and Morgan Brumbaugh who both went 2-for-3.

Both also scored three times and Brumbaugh also posted an RBI.

Overall, the Mount Union girls tallied nine hits and nine runs while its defense held the Glendale bats to only four hits.

Picking up the win for the Lady Trojans was McKenna Shields. Shields went the distance.

Taking the loss for Glendale was Mulholland.

Brumbaugh and Kayden Crisswell both went yard for the Trojans.

Mount Union posted two runs in the first and then three in the third to take a 5-0 advantage.

The Lady Trojans added four runs in the seventh en route to the victory.
