MC boys pick up first win of the season; dominated CM

Saving the best for last.

The Mifflin County boys basketball team all year has been a team that never gave up and refused to go out without a fight.

Despite injuries and other off court distractions, the team always came out and left everything out in the court, no matter what the score was.

So it seemed fitting that the hard work and their attitude would continue to pay off.

Saturday night it did just that.

After a hard fought game against Harrisburg the night before.

It set the table for the Huskies on Saturday.

It all came together that night as the group of young Huskies players jumped the hurdle that they tried to leap over all season, landing a win.

It wasn’t just a close win, it would be a hard fought 19-point contest over the Wildcats.

So a big Congratulations to the Mifflin County Huskies boys basketball team as they finished the year on a positive Note winning their first game of the year.

Saturday night, the Huskies defeated Central Mountain 65-46.

It was a great night offensively for Noah Wright as he posted a game-High 31 point effort to lead his team to the victory.

The bar has been crossed and next season, the turnaround has just beginning.
