MC field hockey falls 3-2 to Cedar Cliff

The Mifflin County field hockey team found itself trailing 2-0 to Cedar Cliff but managed to rally back and make a game of it before falling 3-2.

Mifflin County picked up all its goals in the second half.

Hailee Sheetz notched the first Husky goal at 9:04from Jordi Attick, cutting into Cedar Cliff’s lead.

The Huskies made it even closer as Alyssa Lynch found the back of the cage at 2:53from Hailee Sheetz.

Mifflin County finished with eight shots on goal and five corners.

Goalie Coletta Beeler finished with eight saves.

Cedar Cliff had 13 shots on goal and 11 corners.

In the JV contest, MC lost 1-0

The Huskies Varsity record is 8-6.

Mifflin County plays at State College on Wednesday.
