MC field hockey still sizzles

The winning continues.
The Mifflin County field hockey team picked up its seventh win in a row as it beat Chambersburg 4-2.
MC got the scoring going when Kortlin Yetter with 1:41 remanining in the 1st half to go tie the game at 1-1.
Chambersburg took the lead late in the first on a goal by Sage Piper at 2:07.
The Huskies cane out firing starting with Marcella Pupo goal at 21:00, giving Mifflin County lead for the first time in the contest.
Emily shilling added to the lead with a goal at 17:53
Shilling again notched her second goal of the night minutes later at 15:25 on a breakaway 1-on-1 with the goalie.
Chambersburg goal by Jess champion at 2:06 rounded out the scoring.
MC goalie had two saves, five corners and 16 shots on goal.
The Huskies improved to 6-2 league 7-3 overall.
