MC Girls junior high soccer team wins second in two days; tops EJ

Two for two!

MCJH Girls Varsity soccer team picked up its second win in as many days as they defeated East Juniata 3-0.

The Huskies were busy at the net, picking up 18 shots on goal while holding the Tigers without a shot.

East Juniata’s goalie was strong in the net, saving 15.

Mifflin County collected four corner opportunities while the Lady Tigers had one.

Sarah Henry led off the scoring as she picked up a pass from Ella Kammerer 3:30 into the game.

Aubrey strohecker notched her first goal thanks to a pass from Brynn Knepp at 21:05.

Strohecker returned the favor as she then found Knepp. Knepp sent it home at 54:36, ending the contest at 3-0.

There was no Junior Varsity contest.
