MC Indoor Field hockey rolls at Spooky Nook

The Mifflin County Girls Indoor field hockey team are headed to the USA Field Hockey Nationals at Spooky Nook in Lancaster.

The Huskies have three girls from Mifflin County representing this weekend March 1-3, 2019. They will be competing on the U16 National Indoor Team for the State College Blue Lions. They had to try out for the National team and only 12 girls were chosen for the team. They currently have four Gold medals from tournaments this season and qualified as 2nd place out of 16 teams at the Lock Haven NIT Qualifier Tournament. They are coached by Sharon Herlocher and Chelle Tambroni under the directer of the Blue Lions Sean Meily. Our MC girls are Coletta Beeler (10th grade), Hayley Corson (10th grade) and Hailee Sheetz (8th grade).
