MC Minors fall to a very tough Suburban team

INDIANA, Pa. – It was a tough opening for the feisty Mifflin County Minor League Softball All- Stars as they fell to a very talented West Suburban team, falling 13-0 in its Regional opener. Suburban Pitcher Thames had pitching the MC girls weren’t used to. She had 11 strike outs.

Suburban’s offense was very tough as well as they collected timely hits en route to the victory.

The group looks to rebound and show their fighting spirit as they still are competing in the double elimination tournament.

With the spirit and energy “the Purple and Black Attack” has shown through the District 5 play, the sky is still the limit.
