Onward and upward; Penns Valley athletes sign their letters of intent

Taking their game to the next level.

Some of the best local sports talents gathered at the Penns Valley gymnasium for the Penns Valley signing and recognition day.

The group was a who’s who of Rams’ athletics as numerois athletes are taking the leap from excelling in high school sports to continuing their careers at the collegiate level.

Baseball was well represented as Cole Breon (Penn State DuBois ), Cameron Shaffer (Point Park Pioneers) and Dylan Treaster (PSU DuBois) are all going to be taking that next step. Treaster and Breon will be remain teammates.

Danae Hurd will be taking her talents to the Grove City College Soccer team

Paige Kubalak, a member of the sweet 16 finishing Lady’s basketball team will be heading to PSU Harrisburg to add to her already successful basketball career.

Highlighting the list of future college stand outs is Baylor Shunk who will be wrestling for Cael Sanderson as a member of the PSU wrestling team.

Carter Felker will continue his Soccer career as a member of Penn State Mont Alto.

Along with Shunk, Bella Culver will also be attending Penn State University as a member of their legendary track team.

Teammates Ryan Ripka and Christian Fruhauf rounded out the group as they will remain teammates at Mansfield as members of their football squad.
