Road Warriors; BEA Softball downs Bellwood

After a long trip to Bellwood-Antis Monday, the Bald Eagle softball team came out with a strong offensive performance in a 6-2 victory.
Winning pitcher on the night was Marina Shawley.
Bald Eagles top hitters on the night were Meagan King (2 hits, 2 runs HR, 2 RBI),Makena Baney (2 hits), Mara Hockenberry(2 hits), Marina Shawley (2 hits, double 2 RBI), Autumn Tobias (2 hits).
“Shawley pitched very well with relief from Maddie Peters, Bald Eagle coach Don Lucas said. “We got good offensive production up and down the lineup and played well on defense. We need to take care of small mental lapses but all-in-all played good ball against a very scrappy team from Bellwood. Next game is home against a very good Tyrone team.
