St. Joseph’s Academy track battles with Central Mountain.

The girls team set two school records on the day with Clare Marsh in the 300m hurdles (49.44) and the girls’ 4x400m relay (Myah Chappell, Sera Mazza, and Clare Marsh), but it wasn’t enough as they suffered a narrow defeat, 69-73, to the Wildcats. Other event winners on the day were the girls 4x800m relay (Julia Cusatis, Addie Ebbs, Kathleen Simander, Sera Mazza), Izzy Warren (100m hurdles, Long jump, triple jump), Myah Chappell (400), Sera Mazza (800), Lindsey Carmack (3200), and Michaela Maynard (discuss).

The boys hard four event wins on the day least by Carter Kauffman’s double wins in the 1600 and 800. Carter also teamed with Leland Calistri, Tyler Emigh and Max Wortman to win the 4x800m relay. Theo Spychalski produced a season best throw in the javelin to earn the vicotry. The boys were defeated by Central Mountain 111-31.

The Wolves will be back in action on Friday at the Bald Eagle Invite hosted at Lock Haven University.
