Strohecker, MCJH girls dominate Shippensburg

The Mifflin County Junior High Girls soccer dominated Shippensburg Monday night, winning 9-0. Despite being on the road, the Huskies outshot Shippensburg 33-0.

Goalie Bailey McNitt was untested in the contest.

In Corners, Mifflin County collected 11 while Ship had none. 

Aubrey Strohecker tallied a 5-goal night, clinching more than just a hat trick in the process.

Teammate Sara Henry also collected a hat trick as well.

Rounding out the goal scoring was Kylie Strawser.

Strohecker got the scoring started as she got a pass from Brynn Knepp, making it 1-0 with just 3:25 in the game.

 Strohecker picked up goal number two minutes later on another assist from Knepp at 8:42.

Holding a 2-0 advantage the two hooked up again as Strohecker got a third assist from Knepp, upping it to 3-0 with 11.52 showing on the clock.

Henry picked up the next three goals, all of which was unassisted, doubling up the Mifflin County lead 6-0.

Kylie strawser hit her lone goal off an assist from Strohecker at the 36.51 mark. 

Strohecker added an eighth goal on an unassisted goal at the 40-minute mark.

It seemed almost fitting that the combination Strohecker and Knepp would end the scoring at 9-0 at the 44 -minute mark.

In the JV Game , Shippensburg  won 3-0.
