Bald Eagle Softball plates 15 runs over PV

MILL HALL – The Penns Valley girls softball team welcomed in a sizzling Bald Eagle Area team that has been playing well lately, especially on offense.
The Eagles brought it’s A-game along Friday as it made quick work of the Rams, 15-2 in five innings.
Picking up the victory on the evening was Maddie Peters who finished with two strikeouts and two walks.
Taking the loss was pitcher Kendra Bumgardner. She tallied three strikeouts and five walks.
Penns Valley scores it’s two runs in the third. They finished with two runs in five hits.
Unfortunately for the Lady Rams, they also had four errors.
Leading hitters for Penns Valley were Lydia Collison single, double, run scored, Kendra Bumgardner, single, run scored and RBI. Ryleigh Cain had a double and RBI.
 Ryah Thompson rounded things out with a single.
The Eagles wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, picking up one in the first, three in the second and one in the third.
Bald Eagle finished with 15 runs, 11 hits and an error.
Picking up multi hit games for the Eagles were L. Barnhart led the hitters with a single and four runs scored, M. King single, HR, two runs scored and two RBIs.
Teammates continued the hitting as M. McCloskey singled, two runs scored, and RBI, T. Yarrison – single, RBI, M. Lucas – single, run scored, M. Caldana – double, run scored, M. Kresovich – single, run scored and
M. Peters – 2 HRs, single, three runs scored, three RBIs.
