BEA baseball tops Central with late inning scoring

BEA 9, Central 5

It’s their turn.

After it’s softball team defeated Central the night before, this time it was the baseball’s team to cone out with the victory.

In the end, the Eagles defeated the Dragons 9-5.

Winning Pitcher on the night was Nick Maynard as he went 5 and 1/3, innings while Dylan Bisel finished out the contest.

Losing Pitcher was Central’s Jason Ferry.

Top BEA hitters in the afternoon was Jaden Jones(2-for-3), Matt Reese (3-for-4, double, home run), Dylan Bisel (2-for-4), and Myles Stover (double).

BEA opened up the game with a 3-run lead in the first. However, the Eagles gave up the lead to give it up to a 3-3 tie in the second. Central took a 5-3 lead in the 4th. BEA scored four in the 5th off of a Myles Stover lead-off double, followed by a Jaden Jones RBI single. Dylan Bisel then singled Jones home and later scored on a Caleb Burns single. BEA scored two more in the 6th after a Jaden Jones single, Matt Reese hit a 2-run homer.
