Bellefonte athlete take next step to college competition

On Friday, May 17th the BASD Athletic Department celebrated the following student-athletes committing to continue their education and playing careers on the college level.  Below is the information.

Moryelle Fernandez

Track and Field

Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Studying – Accounting

Played Soccer and track and field

Favorite moments – Winning first D6 Soccer Championships and competing in the State Track and Field Meet.

Holds the school record for long and triple jump.

Kyle  Myers

Wrestling

West Virginia University

Studying – Organizational Leadership

Played football and wrestled; member of the National Honor Society

Team Captain for both football and wrestling – Earned over 100 career wins 2X District Champion and 2X State Qualifier

Kyle is thankful for his coaches and teammates

Shaelah Pepperman

Volleyball

Chatham University

Studying – Art Therapy

Member of the National Honor Society and Art Club

MVP – 3 years and team Captain for 2 years

She is very excited to play volleyball for the Cougars wearing jersey #1.
