East Juniata girls still unbeaten
The East Juniata Girls Soccer team had their legs working overtime as they defeated Upper Dauphin 9-0 on Saturday.
Picking up goals for the EJ Girls were Kierstyn Fogle, unassisted at 7:47, Thea Neimond, unassisted at 9:00, Carly Beaver, unassisted, 17:10, Maddison McDonald on an assist by Thea Neimond 18:57, Hailey Swartz, assisted by Thea Neimond at 21:55, Bree Henry, unassisted at 29:22, Emily Wert assisted by Bree Henry at 30:50,
Clarye Guyer assisted by Maddison Coudriet at 41:55 and Bree Henry, assisted by Marin Varner at 74:58.
East Juniata led in the shots on goals by a 38-0 margin.
EJ goalie Kayla Forry finished with no saves.
East Juniata finished with nine Corner kicks.
The Tigers improve to 4-0 in the TVL and 7-0 overall.
East Juniata will be back in action at home against Halifax.
“The girls moved the ball around well. They worked hard from the start,” said Tigers coach Valeria Dressler.
