East Juniata rolls in post season opener

The East Juniata girls soccer team blazed it’s way through the Line Mountain team for the Quarter Finals of Districts, 11-0.

Thea Neimond picked up a hat trick in the dominating win.

East Juniata got its scoring started early when Leah Sankey scores on an assist by Marin Varner at 1:18.

Kierstyn Fogle posted her first goal on an unassisted shot at 3:36.

Cypress Feltman put her name in the scoring column thanks to an assist by Madison McDonald at 7:34.

The Tigers were still warming up when Clarye Guyer off an assist by Kierstyn Fogle made it 4-0 at the 8:39 mark.

Still in the first, Neimond made it 5-0 when she assisted by Leah Sankey at 11:56.

at .15:30

Amara Brubaker continued the scoring on an unassisted at 25:52.

8) Thea Neimond rounded out the scoring in the first half as she was assisted by Kierstyn Fogle at 26:56.

Leah Sankey scored the first goal of the second half, posting an 9-0 score on an unassisted goal at 47:31.

Lucky number 10 was scored by Fogle on an unassisted goal at 48:10.

Thea Neimond rounded out the game scoring as she was assisted by Sankey at 56:30.

East Juniata pounded out 23 Shots on goal and four Corner Kicks.

Brianna Henry was strong as the EJ goalie.

East Juniata’s Overall record is 19-1

and League record- 13-0
