The Juniata boys took to the road Wednesday and came back the winners of a 74-63 victory over Upper Dauphin.

Also posting a double-digit effort for Juniata was Manny O’Donell with 13 while Bryson Clark had a 12-point evening.

Devon Nealman and Taylor Gomez both had eight.

Upper Dauphin took the lead after the first period posting 19 while keeping the Indians offense to just 13.

In the second period, it was Juniata’s turn to post 19. They were able to hold UDA to 12.

When the two went into the intermission, Juniata held a 32-31 advantage.

Leading the turnaround was Clark with two triple for six points.

Defense took center stage for Juniata in the third as it clamped down on Upper Dauphin’s offense by allowing only six.

Offensively, the Indians kept things going by posting an 18-point quarter.

Both teams battled back and forth in the final period.

Despite Upper Dauphin outscoring Juniata 26-24 in the final period, it wasn’t enough to come back to win the contest.

In the end, it would be the Indians that stood with their arms raised in victory.
