Juniata boys tops Penns Valley

Playing against a tough Penns Valley team, the Juniata boys soccer team picked up yet another big win as it shut down the Rams 3-0. 

In the First Half, Chase Lehman picked up Juniata’s first goal as he found the back of the net at 34:30 on an assist by Garrett Meifert. 

With time running out in the first, the Indians picked up its second goal by Zack Hemond with 8:26. He was Assisted by Zane Hazard. 

In the Second Half, Tad Shellenberger picked up the third goal for Juniata at 20:05. 

The Indians led in the shots on goal by a 10-4 margin. 

Penns Valley led in corner opportunities by a 5-4 margin. 

“Our boys played a complete game from beginning to end on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball,” Juniata coach Jared Byler said.
